Your Ceremony |

Ceremonial Music Many brides and grooms today prefer digital ceremonial music versus live music because of its dynamic range, accuracy, crystal clear sound and being able to have the original song by its original artist. I will play whatever song you would like and customize your ceremony to your taste and personal style. I start the music off soft as guests arrive to set the feel and increase the volume at each stage to accent the stages of the ceremony. |

“How will I select my ceremonial music”? If you would like to research some ideas you can brows itunes or barnsandnoble.com website by searching with the word ceremony, or have me send you an email that has music imbedded in it that you can click to listen to. Another option is to let me use my experience on what ceremonial music to play, with you providing a little input on style you would be interested in. "Can you fade out the music at any point"? Your ceremonial music can be faded out softly at any point so that the length of the song is customized to the length of you ceremonial stages, such as when the bride joins the groom. "At what time should the music start"? It is a good idea to start the music a half hour before the time on your invitations say the ceremony is to begin, since guest will trickle in from up to a half hour before the stated start time. "Where will you set up at my ceremony site"? So that the speakers and the sound system doesn't disrupt the view for the guests and doesn't end up in your ceremony photos, I set the equipment to the side or behind the guests. Most disc jockeys set their speakers on each side of the bride and groom and block the view of guests and end up in ceremony photos. "Are there additional fees for the ceremonial music"? There are no additional fees for your ceremonial music and the needed music sound system. If using me for your ceremony, your four-hour base rate start time is moved to the ceremony music start time instead. This system includes speakers, speaker stands, a mixer, an amplifier, an equipment stand, a computer, and other necessary equipment. Includes is setup, breakdown, finding onsite electrical power, running power and speaker cables, testing, and attendance and operation of the system during your ceremony to adjust volume for emphasizing the progressive stages. It is necessary for there to be electrical power available at the ceremony site to power the sound system. Unlike other disc jockeys, my ceremony system speakers are smaller compared to the reception speakers for a more appropriate and tasteful look for your ceremony. |

"Is there an additional fee for your microphone PA sound system for my ceremony"? This service requires more additional time and labor than what is obvious, so there is a fee for each additionally requested microphone. Brides and grooms find the value for this service well worth the cost. The necessary equipment to operate a microphone requires speakers, speaker stands, a mixer, an amplifier, an equipment stand, wireless receivers, the body pack and/or hand held microphone, fresh batteries, power cables and other necessary equipment. Literally a complete sound system is necessary for this service which requires electrical power that must be available on site too. The system requires setup, breakdown, finding onsite electrical power, running power and speaker cables, testing for interference and resetting channels and making the necessary adjustments , wiring / mic-ing up your officiate then retesting to set the sound levels, and attendance and operation of the system during your ceremony to adjust volume for possible changing sound environment.
